Photo Gallery - Ducks, Summer 2008

Before the 6 week holiday our teacher Mrs Lashley brought a cute runner duck in for us to see, in class. First she talked about ducks and there habitats because we where learning about that in our Topic.

Next she let the runner duck to ponder around. While the duck was exploring she talked about that they're Indian and they can't fly. She said she loves animals and has loads at her home. She told us that they smell. First Mrs Lashley showed us the cage and the girls thought it was a rabbit. The poor duck got stuck behind the shelf and the wall.

After assembly, Mrs Lashley took the year sixes and the put the ducks into the pond to swim around.

Some year threes and fours watched them put the ducks in the pond from the window as they paddled around in the pond. Everybody loved the ducks and wanted to smooth it, we all had fun today.
